CGS Worlds Quarter-Final Preview: London Mint vs Carolina Core

The dust has cleared after the first 2 days of competition at the CGS Worlds here in Los Angeles and only 8 teams still have the chance to win the enormous $500,000 first place franchise prize. Who will move on to the Semi-Finals? Take a look inside to see what Stuart Brooks predicts will be the outcome of the Quarter-Final match with the London Mint and the Carolina Core.

Seoul Jinhwa places 9th-12th

Only 8 teams remain in Los Angeles with a chance at the $500,000 1st place franchise prize. With Sydney, Rio, Wuhan and Seoul now out, the 9th-12th placing has become official. Each of these franchises earns themselves a 15,000 dollar prize, which equals out to be a little more than 1,000 per player.

Seoul Jinhwa falls to Carolina Core

In the opening round of the CGS World Championships, the Jinhwa will face off against the Carolina Core in the only match on Friday, December 7th. The Carolina Core will be looking for redemption after the heartbreaking loss in the Region 1 Finals almost 5 months ago. Seoul will be looking to prove that they deserve to be at the CGS Worlds. Our beloved Jinhwa has its work cut out for them against the Core.
